About People of Brookvale

People of Brookvale started as a simple training exercise inside Humble Productions as a way for us to get better at what we do by filming real people, with no brief and no pressure.

Pretty quickly it became obvious there was something bigger going on. Brookvale is changing fast. Old workshops are turning into studios, breweries, creative spaces and small-batch makers. The place has always had grit and now it’s got a new energy flowing through it.

People of Brookvale is our way of capturing that shift, as it happens, one local legend at a time through honest conversations with the people who make this suburb what it is.
